Large and nicely engraved map that was prepared by W.M. Kirkby, Commissioner of Railroads & Telegraphs. Names 82 railroads in operation throughout Ohio through legend and coloring. The Pullman Palace Car and Wagner Palace Car Companies are indicated next to railroad names. Also locates telegraph and express companies. Pictorial cartouche of railroad locomotive and cars. Counties colored in outline. Red over printed, concentric 25 mile circles indicate distances from Columbus at the center. The map is mounted on linen, as issued, and folds into gilt stamped hard covers. Published in Cleveland by the Forman-Bassett-Hatch Co.
