Very handsome map of Scandinavia is filled with immense detail including roads and many named towns. John Cary is regarded as one of the finest English cartographers. His maps, while not decorative in the seventeenth century sense, are skillfully engraved with great accuracy and clarity. His work covered English county maps, world atlases, road maps, town and canal plans, sea charts and globes.

Fine impression and superb original color. There is a bit of very faint offsetting, else very good.
