Charming small plan of the fortifications at Bonn during 1689 when it was destroyed by Elector Frederick III of Brandenburg. A decorative key at right names the important sites. Nicolas de Fer held the title of Geographer at Louis XIV's court. He was one of the most prolific publishers of plans of European cities in the late seventeenth century.

Great impression and original coloring. On thick hand laid paper with crown watermark and wide margins. Minor printer's crease and a couple of faint spots, else very good.
