This is the title page of the first volume of the first edition of Ogilby's famous atlas of strip maps detailing the roads of England and Wales. Printed at his house "By John Ogilby Esq.; His Majesty's Cosmographer, and Master of His Majesty's Revels in the Kingdom of Ireland."

Printed in red and black ink on thick hand laid paper with fleur-de-lys watermark. Some scattered toning or foxing and a soft crease.
