Beautifully engraved folio sheet with three panels featuring the Chinese Emperor flanked by his lovely concubines. The engravings are particularly interesting because they depict the elaborate interior furnishings of the palace and fine clothing of the royal class. Panels of French text below.

Clean, bright impression. Old paper repair on bottom centerfold, just affecting text. Remnants of hinge tape on verso.
