These beautiful life-sized illustrations of British birds are from the English equivalent of Audubon's famous works. Unlike Audubon however, Selby engraved most of the plates himself. His work was a great achievement in the long history of bird illustration. Size is of the platemark, paper size is 19.5 x 25.5".
