First two engravings are from Arnoldus Montanus' De Nieuwe en Onbekende Weereld of Beschryving van America, published by Jacob van Meurs in Amsterdam, circa 1671. These engravings show a king and queen of Florida and a ceremony in preparation for war. The (6.5 x 5") copper engravings are on full sheets of Dutch text. The third engraving (2.7 x 4.7"), Habits et Maisons des Floridiens, was engraved by Chedel probably after Bellin, and published in Paris, circa 1755.
