Fine copper engraved view showing multiple ships and related implements, decorated with a 32-point compass rose. Shows several ships with various sail configurations, detailed drawings of numerous line blocks and other images of a large ship being righted by a smaller vessel and a sailor caulking planks. Engraved by Benard.

Fine impression on thick hand laid paper with watermarks. Marginal foxing and a little toning in image, still very good.
