Third American edition of this folio atlas published by M. Carey and Sons. Approximately 30 double-page maps, plus scores of tables, chronological and historical. Missing the maps relating to the United States including the map by John Melish. Sold as a collection of maps, including the title page, advertisement text, and contents page. Covers detached, spine missing, contents mostly loose.

Most maps good with a few very good. France, Spain & Portugal, and Russia with heavier foxing, small ink stain on Scotland. Very few split maps as normally found in this atlas. Scattered foxing or toning to text pages.
