A complete atlas with rough covers. This is the expanded version of the 1886 atlas with a number of additional maps and city plans. A huge atlas with at least 155 maps, charts and a few thematic diagrams. Includes numerous city plans, many not found in other atlases. All double-page maps are printed on a single sheet and tipped in. Cover indicates this is "Grand New Census Edition." Small folio, 1/2 leather and gilt-stamped cover, 518 pp.

Maps are clean and bright - fine condition. Covers worn and detached. Spine missing. Contents complete with signatures becoming uneven. Will benefit from rebinding.
