A very nice turn-of-the-century atlas complete with 118 double-page maps including maps of each U.S. state and territory. The maps are packed with detail with railroads shown in red. All are printed on one side only, which is unusual for atlases of this period. 480 pages including an extensive index. Hardbound in original quarter calf over cloth boards, marbled end papers.

Condition: A
Front cover is starting to separate with the first several pages affected. Maps are fine except the US map which is loose and split in half. Slight rubbing to binding and short split at upper spine.
