Lovely stone engraved map with floral borders. Shows the Wagon Road to Gt. Salt Lake heading toward Las Vegas, built and proposed railroads, and much more. San Bernardino is a huge county that extends from the coastal range to the border with Utah. Features a small inset of San Francisco Bay and Vicinity, and a huge inset where Nevada normally resides, titled "Map of the Settlements in the Great Salt Lake Country, Utah."

Very nice example with strong impression and nice hand coloring. A little marginal toning and surface soiling. Map near fine.
