A large and boldly engraved chart covering Pomerania, present-day northern Germany and Poland. Two ornate cartouches are embellished with figures in a bountiful fishing boat, hounds on a hunt and cherubs below five distance scales. This is Jaillot's edition of Sanson's map.

Condition: B

Crisp and very early impression. Printed on two sheets and joined, as issued, with full margins. Toned along centerfold at joint line with some areas of lifting. Hint of offsetting and several marginal tears closed on verso.
