Beautifully engraved chart from the Cloppenburgh edition of Mercator's small atlas. The new maps in this edition were engraved in a slightly larger format by Peter van den Keere (Petrus Kaerius). Map details the eastern portion of the Czech Republic and locates scores of towns and villages and provides good detail of the rivers in the region.

Condition: A

Very nice example with strongly engraved lines an fine original color. Some marginal foxing or toning, map is near fine. Small part of lower right corner is missing.
