This striking bird's-eye plan provides one of the most detailed illustrations of the city of Venice. Virtually every building and street is visible and the lagoon and canals are filled with an array of ships and gondolas. The text below the plan lists the monasteries, churches, places, bridges and the names of Venetian nobility. Full sheet measures 18 x 15.5".

Fine impression. Scattered worm holes in bottom blank margin, not affecting map or text. Remnants of hinge tape on verso.
