Very uncommon map of the northwest part of Spain covering the Kingdom of Galicia and Asturias. The map is beautifully engraved to illustrate the mountains, forests and rivers and filled with cities and villages. The title cartouche features the region's coats of arms and another cartouche contains a description of the region and history. On two joined sheets, as issued.

Light surface soil and a couple of extraneous creases, else very good.
