Pair of interesting maps of the region showing two different locations for the Garden of Eden. The first, per the theories of Mr. Huet, shows a larger area with Eden located south of Babilone (present-day Baghdad) just north of the Persian Gulf. The second map, according to Mr. Calmet, shows Paradise located in present-day Armenia near Mount Ararat. Both were drawn and engraved by P. Starckman with attractive title cartouches and compass roses.
