Lavishly decorated map of the Holy Land that depicts the flight from Egypt and the wanderings of the Children of Israel. Includes ships sailing in both the Mediterranean and Red Seas, a scene of Jonas and the whale, a compass rose, distance scale cartouche and the title cartouche incorporating a depiction of the encampment, a priest and the temple icons. Visscher's trademark fisherman is engraved above the encampment inset. Dutch text on verso.
