Very scarce promotional and sales map for the new Pleasant Valley subdivision just south of Oroville, California. Surveyed by C.W. Reese, C.E. December, 1887 and prepared for E. Tucker, the developer. With an inset that shows the city of Oroville. Half of the verso is a bird's-eye "View of Pleasant Valley Tract and City of Oroville, Cal…The Most Desirable Tract in the Butte County Citrus Belt..." that is a true stone lithograph accomplished by Dankin Pub. Co. San Francisco. The lower half of the verso is extensive text promoting the subdivision.
