Early and large AAA road map of Long Island with fine detail that is drawn on a scale of 1 inch = 2 miles. The eastern portion of Long Island continues on verso (27 x 8.8"). Printed line indicates hard surface roads constructed of Bituminous Macadam or concrete and other roads with gravel, shell or other soft surfaces. The map shows clubs, parks and cemeteries in green and uses red for aviation fields, towns and cities, golf and country clubs (42!), race tracks (Aqueduct, Belmont, Jamaica, Sheepshead Bay), and yacht clubs (44!). An early auto road map in terrific condition.
