A terrific plan of the city and waterfront along the Delaware River with great detail of major streets, buildings and landmarks. List at bottom names, and is keyed to, 96 buildings and institutions. The new railways are detailed and named. Lovely engraved vignettes show the United States Bank and the Exchange. The entire map is uncolored except for a narrow blue band along the western shoreline of the Delaware River. A very nice example of one of the best 19th Century plans of the city. Published by Chapman & Hall.
