1) Carte de la Guyane is a lovely map of the northeastern coast of South America covering the English, Dutch (Suriname) and French possessions in Guyana. The map is nicely detailed and very decorative with a compass rose, rhumb lines and a fine title cartouche (12 x 8.6" ).
2) La Ville de Cayenne is an interesting bird's eye plan of the town of Cayenne in French Guyana. It was designed by J.N. Bellin and engraved by Jan van Schley for a Dutch edition (10.7 x 8.5" ).
