A superb map of the Burgundy wine region in France. Finely engraved with minute detail and embellished with a bold title cartouche flanked by soldiers and coats of arms, and a strapwork distance scale cartouche. Beautiful old hand coloring in outline within the map, and full coloring in the title and distance scale cartouches.

Condition: B

A couple spots and split at margins along centerfold, repaired on verso. Paper weakness on verso from removal of backstrap, not visible from map.
