First is a double hemisphere that measures approximately 10.5 x 6.5". It is on a full sheet with generous margins. The map was published in Buffon's Histoire Naturelle. The latter is an anonymous chart of the south pole. It measures approximately 5.5 x 6" and also has original margins. Two nice charts that show explorers' routes and geographical understanding of the area at the time.

Condition: A

Very light toning along folds in former and few spots outside of hemisphere in latter. Both with original outline coloring.
