A very uncommon map with a pictorial cartouche featuring Chinese merchants with temples in the background. The map covers most of China with an unusual depiction of the Korean peninsula showing the Isle de Fungma ou de Quelpaerts at its southern tip. The map is surrounded by an elaborately engraved border with a binding trim into the border at right. Originally sharing a sheet with a map of the Holy Land, which was printed above, this map lacks a top margin where the two maps were separated.
