Lot of three early maps of the continent of Africa each with the typical spurious interior cartography of the seventeenth century.

1) "Afrique Par P. Du Val Geogr. du Roy" by Pierre Duval, circa 1680, hand colored (4.8 x 3.8").
2) "Africae Descriptio" by Philipp Cluver, Amsterdam, circa 1661, uncolored (8 x 5.5").
3) "Afrique" by Nicolas Sanson, engraved by A. Peyrounin, Paris, circa 1656, outline color, (10.8 x 7.8").
