Finely engraved chart that features the US/Canadian border in the Northwest extending to about 55° North Latitude as in the "Fifty-Four Forty or Fight" dispute with Britain. Mexico is in control of the entire Southwest up to the border with Oregon. Texas is not mentioned. Alaska is Russian America. The coastlines are fully engraved to give the continents a three dimensional appearance in this well drawn map.
