Attractive map of the continent from Carey's influential atlas. The map extends to show the northern part of South America and all of the Caribbean. Texas is named and is shown to be a part of the United States. In the West the cartography has been updated from the 1814 edition to show the results of Lewis and Clark's expedition and the headwaters of the Columbia River in Canada. Alaska and Cook's River are located.
