Fine decorative title page from this great atlas. Features two figures from cartographic history (one carrying an armillary sphere and calipers, and the other displaying a rolled map). Terrestrial and celestial globes complete the very attractive sheet with strong architectural theme. Title imprint pasted onto sheet, as was common at the time of publication. A most lovely example.
