Lovely, large wall map surrounded by numerous vignettes and a decorative border. Centered on North America, it features interesting territorial borders in the western U.S. Very decorative border with 12 engraved views of cities and wonders from around the world. The four views in each corner are larger and beautifully rendered. They include Havana, Venice, Ning Po, Bordeaux. Table of distances in Greenland's blank interior. Lower roller attached, upper is missing.

Small hole in the Caroline Islands. Rough in top roller attachment area with some loss, well away from border, and a little loss at upper left corner just into view of Havana. Will benefit from professional restoration.
