Very detailed and finely engraved chart covers the main islands plus the eastern coastline of Denmark and a little of Sweden. The map locates scores of towns and villages and shows forests and watershed. Elaborate cartouche with crest, numerous mermaids and a large vignette of the approach to Copenhagen with ships in the harbor.

Condition: B

Strong impression, full coloring on thick paper with original margins. Light water stain just entering map at sides and bottom corners, and toned along centerfold. Fine pattern visible appears to be from printer wiping plate clean prior to printing.
