Fine map covers northern Russia from Finland to just beyond the Petzora River. It is based on the cartography of Guillaume Delisle and provides a superb view of the topography along with hundreds of tiny villages and the major roads. The title cartouche is adorned with a variety of scientific instruments and two putti.
