Densely engraved map covering northeastern Italy and Istria on the northern shore of the Adriatic. The map is focused on Venice but extends south to Florence, west to include Piacenza and Crema, north to the Alps and also includes Istria, then a part of the Domain of Venice. Fantastic detail of the countryside identifies small villages, roads, topography, rivers and more. The fortified cities of Urbino, Bologne, Modena, Mantova, Vicenza, Parma and many more are located. Huge and very handsome title cartouche depicts royalty, soldiers, Mercury and the allegorical figure of Fame.
