This densely engraved map features Italy's northwestern coastal region. Centered on the fortified city of Genoa, the map extends to Monaco in the west, Massa in the east, and north to above the fortified towns of Torino, Borgo and Parma. There is remarkable detail throughout of topography, roads, towns and villages, fortified cities, etc. Embellished with a large centrally located title cartouche, the sheet includes an extensive legend and six distance scales on either side of the cartouche.
