Create your own map game! A double hemisphere map is mounted onto a wooden box. Each hemisphere has a spinner at the equator with the letters of the alphabet, and brass brads marking 360°, in 10° degree sections, 180° to each side. We have no idea how the game was originally played. But it is a fascinating cartographic artifact all the same.
