This is a very scarce regional map prepared for Peter the Great's survey and published by the Geographic Department of the Imperial Academy of Science. It shows Russia's east Asian provinces: Yakutsk, Irkutsk and Undinen with fine detail throughout. While the outline of Kamchatka is represented fairly accurately, the north Asian coastline, the Chukchi peninsula and the Sea of Okhotsk still show some inaccuracies.
