Lot of six maps and engravings depicting cities and the people of Siam in the eighteenth century. 1) Habit of an Ambassador of Siam to the Grand Seignior. Engraved for the "New Geographical Dictionary" printed by the King's Authority for J. Coote in Pater Noster Row (Hand color, 6.5 x 9.5"). 2) Judia, Capitale de Siam - Hoofd Stad van Siam by Bellin/Van Schley (B/W, 11 x 7.5"). 3) Plan de la Ville de Louvo, Demeure ordinaire des Rois de Siam - Platte Grond der Stad Louvo (B/W, 12.5 x 7.5") 4) Couvent de Talapoins / Pagode de Siam by Bellin/Van Scley (B/W, 5.5 x 7.5") 5) Mandarin Siamois / Femme Siamoise avec son Enfant by Bellin (B/W, 5.5 x 7.5") 6) Habits of the Siamese (B/W, 7.6 x 6.4").
