Charming small map of the southern part of Africa fully engraved with mountains, several large rivers, and lakes. The kingdom of Monomotapa covers most of the interior. Decorative title cartouche. An extensive manuscript ink description of "Le Congo" is neatly written on verso.

Condition: A

Stains in blank margins, including a faint stain that just touches platemark at upper right. Bit of minor show though of text on verso.
