Spectacular and well rendered chromolithograph that details a camp scene with officers gathered around Gen. Ulysses S. Grant. One officer is holding a map. Excellent detail of uniforms. This is the earlier and larger edition that should not be confused with the more common and less well produced edition of 1897. Chromolithography by the firm of G. H. Buek & Co. of New York.

Image is fine. Crack in paper at lower corner, tissue guard is missing with it's attachment strip along left side, well away from image.
