This is a large folio booklet with Blaeu's wall map of 1624 reproduced full-size on 20 pages. Written by Gunter Schilder with 17 pages of detailed study. Purportedly the second edition of Blaeu's map of 1605; the only known copy located at the Hispanic Society of America. One of a limited edition of 600 copies published by Nico Israel in Amsterdam. Paper covers, frontispiece of the wall map of the world, 17 pages on recto only, six text illustrations, map on 20 sheets.
