This important carto-bibliography covers maps produced between 1848 and 1857 and is the definitive reference on Gold Rush maps. This edition is the Martino reprint of the 1942 Grabhorn Press Edition. Hardbound, 153 pages, including index, text and illustrated with facsimiles of early California maps. Contains C. D. Gibbs Map of the Southern Mines, 1852 that was not included in the original edition. A comprehensive collection of early California cartography. This edition limited to 350 copies.
