This interesting report includes eight maps, charts and views. There are two hand-colored geological charts, "Geological Chart of Part of Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois" (17.7 x 22.9") and "Geological Section from the Mouth of the Rock River through the Blue Mounds to the Wisconsin River" (11 x 18.3") both by David Dale Owen. There is also an uncolored magnetic chart (11.3 x 11.3"). Text is illustrated with plates of fossils and views depicting limestone strata. Now housed in modern archival paper covers with a handwritten label.
