This beautiful map was based on Speed's map of Ireland and is geographically nearly identical. The decorative elements consist of three elaborate cartouches; the royal British coat of arms, the title enclosed in a strapwork framework with the Irish coat of arms and a fruit garland, with the distance scale flanked by two putti. Latin text on verso.

Sharp impression and lovely old color. Faint damp stains at sides, just entering map borders. Old repair of bottom fold separation, just affecting map border.
