This woodblock map of the German Empire in central Europe is oriented with north at the bottom so that Denmark appears at bottom and Geneva is located in the upper right corner next to the text block. The mountains, rivers and forests are graphically presented and the major regions and cites are named. Ships and a sea monster are shown in the North Sea. German text and illustration on verso.
