This large copperplate map of the Lorraine region is fully and beautifully engraved. Centered roughly on Metz, it is absolutely filled with details and information on the watershed, mountains, forests, towns, villages and numerous fortified cities. Very decorative figurative cartouche includes cherubs, figures and coat of arms.
