This lot of approximately 66 leaves make up the section of Munster's great Cosmographia that deals with the history of Switzerland. These early printed leaves contain several important maps, including Zurich, Solothurn, Bern, and Basel. There are portraits, weird animals, battle scenes, medieval methods of execution, coats of arms, a variety of occupations, and village scenes, and a quaint scene of William Tell shooting the apple off his son's head. German text.
