This finely engraved map displays two plans, each in their own border. The former is a simple plan of Nanking showing a cleared field surrounded by a fortified wall. The Su-Tcheou-Fou plan has the alternative name of Su-Chew-Fu above the title. This plan shows a large fortified compound with numerous moats and buildings.

Crisp impression on a full sheet with wide margins. Small separation in lower right margin not affecting the image.
