This interesting map depicts the railroad system throughout the region with 32 camps numbered and identified in an index at the bottom. Each camp is highlighted with a red overprinted circle. The rail lines are boldly printed with all stops identified. Another legend identifies double track lines. Map folds into one side of wrapper. Folding into the other side are 14 individual maps (7.5" x 8") detailing a camp and the surrounding vicinity including city plans, railroads, etc. Includes Petersburg with Camp Lee Containment; Charlotte and Camp Greene; Spartanburg and Camp Wadsworth; Greenville and Camp Sevier; Columbia and Cantonment Camp Jackson; Atlanta with Camp Gordon Cantonment and Fort McPherson; Chattanooga with Fort Oglethorpe with Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park Cantonment; Macon and Camp Wheeler; Augusta and Camp Hancock; Montgomery and Camp Sheridan; Anniston with Camp McClellan; Hattiesburg and Camp Shelby; Louisville with Camp Taylor Cantonment; and Bellville with Aviation Camp near Avia. Pictorial wrapper with an Army bugler, printed in two colors. A terrific WWI pocket map published by the railroad for use by soldiers and sailors.

Condition: A
Large folding map has a few fold intersections splits, but is overall sound and clean with original margins. Smaller maps are all near fine with one tiny spot on the map of Petersburg. Manuscript ownership notation in black ink on front cover.
