This is a very uncommon Spanish map depicting the Bahamas. The map is filled with great detail of villages, ports, sailing routes and hazards. An inset illustrates the vicinity of Nassau. Adorned with a rococo-style title cartouche. A large block of Spanish text describes the sources of the map including the work of D'Anville, Bellin, Pool, and Jefferys.
