Superb miniature map of the coastal region of Poland. The map is nicely engraved with a stippled sea and a large strapwork style title cartouche. This map is from a pocket edition of Abraham Ortelius' Theatrum. The maps were copied from Phillip Galle's final edition of 1598 but were drawn and engraved by Ambrose and Ferdinand Arsenius with wide borders with latitude and longitude shown. Italian text on verso.
